About The Position

Rockfon is seeking a Head of Product Management to be based at our head office in Chicago, IL. This is a hybrid position with a work-from-home option on Fridays. The role reports to the Vice President, Marketing & Business Development. As the Head of Product Management, you will be responsible for the development and deployment of the Product Management function for Rockfon, N.A. You will have direct responsibility for all product areas while managing others through a focused Product Management team. You will also continue to develop our Technical Service offering to become a leader in the market and manage the development of our Mono training platform across North America. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years within building products.
  • Interpersonal skills that facilitate communication with all members throughout the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior leadership experience within Product Management.
  • Experience with ceilings and acoustic solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Work with engineering on strategic product and system development plans in line with market needs and key goals and objectives, executing and launching in a timely manner across all product groups.
  • Identify and develop key points of differentiation across products and services, including segment portfolio development and service development (e.g., CAD and BIM).
  • Create and monitor reporting and strategy development for technical helpdesk service for architects, contractors, and installers.
  • Create and implement a comprehensive training program for the complete portfolio (internal and external).
  • Liaise cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and the wider Marketing team.
  • Define the overall product portfolio by identifying commercially viable opportunities, leveraging strong knowledge of the construction marketplace and deep knowledge of our products and systems.
  • Own the product portfolio from concept to market delivery utilizing or developing appropriate tools such as stage/gate.
