Where You’ll Work This position is based in our SF Bay Area office and will be expected to work in the office in a hybrid capacity. Boston and Indianapolis are also acceptable locations. LILT is hybrid with hubs in SF, NY, Indianapolis, Boston, London, and Berlin. Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment. SF Bay Area (highly preferred) Others: Boston, New York, Indianapolis About The Role With blue-chip enterprise customers and a robust pipeline of both AI and modern software innovation, LILT seeks a courageous and strategic People leader. You will report to the CEO and be a member of the Exec Ops Team. You spike in recruiting / talent and know what good looks like in operations, compliance, and employee relations. You will be curating and developer a group of builder-coaches who build and manage AI systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a BA / BS.
  • Proven growth-stage tech experience.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable people strategies.
  • Talent / recruiting genius; expertise in recruiting and developing niche talent.
  • Builder and hands-on operator; energized by doing the work, not only shaping it.
  • Strategic communicator; strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge Operator mindset; understanding of all roles/processes/tools in the People function and what good looks like for each.
  • Excited about in-office work; experience in building an energetic, generative in-office experience.

Responsibilities

  • Curating and developing a group of builder-coaches who build and manage AI systems.
  • Recruiting, evaluating, and developing highly specialized personnel for a market at the intersection of enterprise AI, AI data, and human operations.
  • Translating business goals into actionable people strategies.
  • Developing cohesive teams across very different work cultures, considering that 50% of the workforce is in Europe and contractors are in LATAM and APAC.
  • Evaluating and integrating teams via acquihires and/or small acquisitions.
  • Building and running the People function hands-on, including writing policies, driving the review cycle, and solving day-to-day issues.
  • Owning and shaping the narrative through leadership layers and down to ICs.
  • Managing workplace health and flourishing as a product, iterating on and improving workplace health and vitality.
  • Solving problems and building a playbook when one doesn't exist.
  • Cultivating high performance and human flourishing.
