About The Position

LILT is seeking a courageous and strategic People leader to report to the CEO and be a member of the Exec Ops Team. This role requires expertise in recruiting/talent, operations, compliance, and employee relations. The Head of People will be responsible for curating and developing a group of builder-coaches who build and manage AI systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in growth-stage tech companies, international leadership, and evaluating/integrating teams through acquihires or acquisitions. This role is hands-on, requiring the individual to build and run the People function directly, not just set direction. A strong understanding of the business and its goals is essential to develop effective people strategies. The role also involves managing workplace health and flourishing as a product, aiming to make LILT the most compelling place to work in its market. The company emphasizes a hybrid work model, with three days in the office per week, and the Head of People should be enthusiastic about fostering an energetic in-office experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a BA/BS degree.
  • Proven growth-stage tech experience.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable people strategies.
  • Experience with international leadership, developing cohesive teams across different work cultures.
  • Talent/recruiting expertise, particularly in recruiting and developing niche talent.
  • Builder and hands-on operator mentality, willing to build and run the People function directly.
  • Strategic communicator with strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Operator mindset with knowledge of People function roles, processes, and tools.
  • Excited about in-office work (three days a week).
  • Ability to manage workplace health and flourishing as a product.

Responsibilities

  • Curate and develop a group of builder-coaches who build and manage AI systems.
