Head of Paid Marketing

MM Coaching Limited

About The Position

The Head of Paid Marketing will take full ownership of paid client acquisition at an eight-figure men's coaching company and lead a marketing turnaround. The role covers paid media, conversion, conversion-rate optimization, and email. Organic marketing is a separate function that this role coordinates with but does not run. The company has a proven funnel, years of data, and an existing team; the new hire will investigate what has changed, improve performance, raise the quality of marketing output, and build the team and systems needed to scale. The role reports to the CEO, works closely with the founder, and is expected to assume end-to-end responsibility for the function within the first months. There is a potential path to CMO. The role directs an external media-buying partner, owns paid-media strategy, budget allocation, growth forecasting, lead quality, creative and messaging direction, VSL iterations, compliance and account safety, tracking and attribution, funnel testing, CRO, and email performance. It also leads the existing marketing team and future hiring, establishes operating processes and performance standards, and uses AI tools such as Claude and Claude Code for analysis, research, SOPs, and compliance pre-checks. The position is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere, with core hours in a European or Dubai time zone. Compensation includes a competitive, above-market six-figure base and significant performance compensation. The company offers an annual performance bonus of up to 10% of the fee, tied to targets within the role's control, and covers software and AI tools. The stated success milestones are recovery toward historical ROAS and renewed revenue growth within six months, and significant business growth with a potential CMO title and profit-share within 18 months.

Requirements

  • Within the last 18 months, have run or led marketing for offer(s) doing at least $1 million per month; this must be verifiable.
  • Have deep experience with high-ticket call funnels, optimizing for booked calls and sales rather than leads.
  • Have expert Meta media-buying skills and fluency with Andromeda-era approaches, including creative-as-targeting, concept-level testing, and pixel conditioning.
  • Be able to explain and teach relevant Meta approaches to the team.
  • Have proven creative and hook-direction experience, supported by examples of ads directed and their results.
  • Have managed a marketing team of at least five people, such as copywriters, editors, media buyers, or social media managers, to a visibly high standard.
  • Have built or rebuilt marketing processes and improved creative-team output quality, not merely managed headcount.
  • Have experience in a compliance-sensitive vertical where advertising accounts can be suspended or lost.
  • Be hypothesis- and data-driven, willing to challenge conclusions, and focused on full-funnel performance.
  • Demonstrate ownership, initiative, high standards, strong creative judgment, and a willingness to address performance problems directly.
  • Be willing to work as much as required to achieve goals, without strict 9-to-5 hours or time-based measures of contribution.
  • Understand the customer: married men whose marriages are in crisis.
  • Want to work closely with the founder, keep stakeholders informed proactively, and focus on outcomes.
  • Be willing to get hands-on rather than delegate all execution, and not maintain other clients on the side.

Nice To Haves

  • Expert-level Google Ads ability; strong working competence is preferred.
  • Experience in relationship, men's transformation, or adjacent emotional-transformation niches, including specific concepts to test for a marriage offer.
  • Fluency with Hyros, GoHighLevel, and ClickFunnels.
  • Experience with split-testing tools that track performance from opt-in through sale, such as Convert.com.
  • An entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial background.

Responsibilities

  • Own paid-media strategy and results, including account structure and testing methodology, while directing the external media-buying partner.
  • Set scaling and budget doctrine, improve lead quality, develop a CPM-reduction program, and determine whether and how to expand Google ads.
  • Own growth forecasts and rebuild them monthly, connecting revenue, calls, qualified-call costs, spend, and creative volume.
  • Allocate budget across Meta, Google/YouTube, and Bing.
  • Direct creative and messaging, including mining sales calls and customer language for hooks, angles, and ads, and iterating based on which calls close.
  • Own avatar architecture, and ensure ad concepts have a written hypothesis, target avatar, and rationale.
  • Review ads and VSLs from a prospect's perspective; write VSL and direct-response copy when needed, otherwise brief and direct copywriters.
  • Own VSL improvements, creative volume and diversity targets, and final quality control for shipped marketing materials.
  • After handover, own the compliance guide, final-review gate for ads and pages, multi-account testing ladder, platform-policy monitoring, and playbooks for operating through restrictions.
  • Own conversion-event architecture, platform event quality thresholds, event routing decisions with the media buyer, pixel-conditioning strategy, up-market experiments, and a canonical weekly funnel scoreboard.
  • Lead funnel architecture and CRO across ads, opt-in, VSL, application, booking, and confirmation pages; run structured split tests from opt-in through sale.
  • Test funnel-architecture options such as direct-to-VSL, no-opt-in variants, and persona-specific funnels.
  • Own email performance and the learning loop between email and paid, setting direction and standards for sequences and broadcasts and feeding winning email concepts into the ads pipeline.
  • Lead the existing team, set standards and expectations, provide direct feedback, conduct weekly planning and structured meetings, and run quarterly performance reviews.
  • Make hiring and firing decisions, design the team needed for the business, recruit for capability gaps, and use the company's scorecard-based hiring process with paid test tasks for every hire.
  • Own department processes, day-to-day operations, production pipeline, and creative and editing throughput and quality.
  • Analyze competitor ads and VSLs and identify specific ways to compete more effectively.
  • Use Claude and Claude Code daily for analysis, research, SOPs, compliance pre-checks, and building systems.

Benefits

  • Competitive, above-market six-figure base compensation.
  • Significant performance compensation tied to performance.
  • Annual performance bonus of up to 10% of the fee, tied to targets within the role's control.
  • Company-paid software and AI tools, including Claude and ChatGPT.
  • Potential path to a CMO title and profit-share tied to business growth.
