About The Position

The Head of Operations represents the Operations function in the local entity and as such leads all Operations activities. The scope of responsibility encompasses local procurement, real estate projects, travel, governance of third parties, and business continuity. All activities are undertaken with the support of the Regional Head of Operations and the Global Functional Units (Procurement, Real Estate and General Services, Travel Operations, Operations Governance and Business Resilience).

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in operations, procurement, or facilities management
  • Service excellence mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of business continuity planning and office security best practices
  • Experience in budget oversight and financial management
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Perform local procurement including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and purchasing
  • Oversee local procure-to-pay activities: orders management, invoicing and payment, in line with Group standards
  • Ensure adherence with the Procurement Management Standard
  • Support local real estate projects driven by the Group Real Estate team and coordinated by Regional Operations, including office moves, renovations, and space optimization
  • Supervise local General Services activities (e.g., mailroom, cleaning, catering, reception)
  • Implement physical security standards and ensure adherence with the Physical Security Management Standard
  • Implement Group sustainability standards (e.g., non-use of plastic charter) and perform local sustainability reporting
  • Provide local and ad hoc Travel support in line with Group Travel & Expenses Management Standard
  • Ensure adherence with Third Party Risk Management and Information Governance standards and perform the required activities when engaging with a Third Party
  • Maintain documentation and reporting for audits and regulatory reviews
  • Support the Business Impact Analysis (BIA) campaign covering local processes, and driven by the Group Business Resilience team
  • Develop and maintain local Business Continuity Plans (BCP)
  • Set up local Incident Management Team, and conduct regular testing and training to ensure business continuity and employee safety
  • Ensure adherence with the Business Continuity Management Standard
  • Oversee the local Operations budget and ensure financial discipline in this domain
