About The Position

As a key member of our team, you will have the chance to make a significant impact as we build and expand our global data center infrastructure. This role involves working with internal teams to establish network improvement plans, driving and influencing senior leadership decision-making, and building effective working relationships with stakeholders. You will be responsible for conducting network design reviews, providing technology leadership, and making key decisions on Network technology. The role also includes communicating budget estimates, managing projects within approved budgets, escalating issues, identifying and mitigating project execution risks, and defining and evangelizing processes, policies, and standards. Additionally, you will lead strategic planning, influence prioritization of initiatives, and develop and communicate a roadmap of projects and initiatives.

Requirements

15+ years of experience with planning and design of customer-facing SaaS production data centers with carrier-grade reliability
Strong knowledge of Internet routing protocols and techniques such as BGP, OSPF, ECMP, MPLS.
Expert knowledge and experience with routing protocols and traffic engineering
Expert knowledge and experience VPN encryption technologies, modern switching platforms, and firewalls including policy implementation and capacity management
Proven ability to manage mission-critical, highly visible infrastructure projects to completion.
Experience with low-level infrastructure testing and troubleshooting tools including packet capture devices, network equipment debug and diagnostics, (Wireshark, NetFlow)
Understanding of security-policy implementation details and how to manage design and support of network environments to maintain policy integrity

Working knowledge of Juniper, Arista, and Cisco equipment highly desirable

Defines and evangelizes processes, policies and standards across all stakeholders
Proactively seeks continuous improvement opportunities in process/ policies/ standards
Responsible for leading strategic planning, influencing and driving prioritization of initiatives with functional stakeholders
Responsible for developing and communicating a roadmap of projects and initiatives to functional stakeholders
