About The Position

ChartHop is looking for a Head of Marketing to lead our marketing team. This person will report directly to the CEO and will be the architect of our go-to-market execution, bridging the gap between high-level brand awareness and rigorous, data-driven demand generation. The ideal candidate is a builder, comfortable with taking calculated risks and experimenting with marketing strategy to drive successful leads and revenue. They should have a demand generation focus and expertise, experience in a B2B SaaS company (preferably in HR technology, Data Analytics, or AI spaces), and be comfortable in early-stage, pre-Series C companies. An AI-curious mindset and data fluency are also essential.

Requirements

  • Leader with a demand generation focus and expertise.
  • Experience working at a B2B SaaS company, with preference for companies in the Human Resources technology, secondary would be Data Analytics, and AI spaces.
  • Comfortable with and have been at pre-Series C companies.
  • AI-curious and understand how AI has substantially changed the marketing landscape and how we can leverage it.
  • Data fluency and understand how to review it to make more precise decisions that focus on results.
  • Experience in leading and elevating a marketing team, strategy, and impact.
  • Experience with taking calculated risks and experimenting with marketing strategy.
  • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar marketing tech stack.
  • Experience managing external agencies and freelancers.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and execution of multi-channel programs designed to drive high-quality qualified pipeline.
  • Oversee paid acquisition (search, social, display) in collaboration with external performance agencies, ensuring optimal CAC and high-intent lead flow.
  • Lead our strategy for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) to ensure ChartHop is the definitive answer in AI-driven search environments.
  • Cultivate relationships with key HR tech influencers and industry analysts (Gartner, Forrester, etc.) to solidify ChartHop’s position as a category leader.
  • Manage external PR resources to drive earned media and thought leadership.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team.
  • Manage a roster of specialized agencies and freelancers, ensuring high-quality output and accountability.
  • Oversee the marketing tech stack (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) to ensure flawless lead routing, attribution, and reporting.
  • Provide the CEO with clear, data-backed insights on marketing ROI.
  • Champion the use of Generative AI tools to accelerate content production, audience segmentation, and experiment iteration.

Benefits

  • Base: $200k-240k
  • Bonus: $25k-$50k
