About The Position

Vichara is a financial services-focused products and services firm headquartered in New York, building systems for some of the largest investment banks and hedge funds in the world. The Head of IT role is focused primarily on infrastructure, operations, security, controls, and vendor governance, with a smaller focus on business applications and technology-enabled operations. The position oversees approximately 5–6 consultants and governance of approximately 10–12 vendors and managed service provider relationships. It owns SOX technology controls and remediation, oversees reconciliations and critical finance and investment systems, and has hands-on escalation responsibility in a lean organization.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience managing IT for a company with more than 100 users.
• At least 5 years of experience in the investment banking space.
• Subject matter expertise in Azure infrastructure, SOX compliance, and SQL Server.
