About The Position

Lead the firm's infrastructure and cybersecurity operations across Equinix data centers and remote user environments. Manage a five-person team, with authority to hire additional resources as needed. Own infrastructure architecture, production reliability, security, disaster recovery, and technical incident response, with responsibility for vendors and budgets.

Requirements

  • 10+ Years of Relevant Experience
  • Infrastructure experience within a broker-dealer, ATS, exchange, or comparable trading environment, including leadership responsibility and strong hands-on technical expertise.
  • Experience supporting low-latency trading infrastructure, exchange connectivity, market data networks, and redundant production environments.
  • Deep knowledge of networking, firewalls, network segmentation, Windows and Linux servers, storage, virtualization, identity management, and endpoint security.
  • Proven cybersecurity experience covering intrusion detection and prevention, security monitoring, vulnerability management, privileged access, and incident containment and recovery.
  • Demonstrated ownership of disaster recovery builds and infrastructure supporting business continuity plans, including alternate sites, critical dependencies, recovery runbooks, and defined recovery time and recovery point objectives.
  • Experience leading end-to-end BCP and DR exercises, including production failover and failback, backup restoration, cyber recovery, and validation of trading and business operations with business owners.
  • Experience coordinating street-wide testing with exchanges, clearing firms, connectivity providers, and trading counterparties; documenting results and closing identified gaps.
  • Experience supporting a disciplined software development lifecycle (SDLC), including secure development and deployment environments, source control, automated release pipelines, testing, approvals, segregation of duties, and production rollback procedures.
  • Expertise in infrastructure automation, configuration management, performance tuning, capacity planning, and cloud cost optimization.
  • Strong production discipline covering monitoring, on-call support, change controls, patching, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Ability to lead staff and service providers, manage budgets, and communicate operational, security, and recovery risks to senior management.
  • Relevant infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, or business continuity certifications, or equivalent demonstrated expertise.

  • Working within an organization subject to SOC 2 examinations, a Regulation SCI entity, or another highly regulated securities industry environment.
  • Managing data centers, colocation facilities, telecommunications providers, and critical technology dependencies.
