About The Position

The Head of Information Security will build the strategic bridge between two growing pillars: scaling the Information Security consulting organization from approximately 4 to 10-20 employees, and simultaneously standardizing Information Security as a scalable product offering within the Proliance 360 platform. The focus will be on consulting excellence, team building, and the integration of consulting expertise and SaaS product offerings into a powerful combination.

Requirements

Several years of experience in building and auditing ISMS according to ISO/IEC 27001.
Solid experience with TISAX® and/or NIS2.
Certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, CISM, CISSP, COBIT, or ITIL.
At least 3 years of experience in team leadership, ideally in building a consulting organization.
Competence in recruiting, enablement, performance management, and quality assurance.
Entrepreneurial thinking: ownership, pragmatism, hypothesis- and data-orientation.
Ability to learn quickly and make decisions under uncertainty.
Concrete experience in integrating consulting expertise and SaaS product development.
Understanding of how to translate consulting insights into features and leverage product features in consulting.
Negotiation-level German, fluent English.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the SME/mid-market customer environment.
Background in LegalTech/Compliance SaaS.
Initial experience in P&L or divisional responsibility (utilization, daily rates, offer design).

Responsibilities

Building and leading the IS consulting organization, including recruiting and enabling a growing team, defining quality standards, managing utilization and margins, and establishing team structures and development paths.
Strategic and operational responsibility for ISO/IEC 27001, TISAX®, and NIS2 implementations.
Serving as the technical escalation point for complex customer projects.
Establishing reusable consulting frameworks and best-practice workflows.
Close collaboration with Product & Engineering on the Proliance 360 platform, translating consulting expertise into scalable features.
Leveraging SaaS functionality in customer consulting.
Providing technical support to Sales & Marketing in enterprise deals and regulated industries.
Acting as the interface to the Privacy team for technical data protection issues.
Continuously developing the company's own ISMS as a reference.
