About The Position

The salary for this position is $240,000 - $270,000 commensurate with experience Fujifilm Dimatix, Inc is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Head of Human Resources to lead and execute all HR functions at our high-tech manufacturing company in Santa Clara, CA and oversight of our Lebanon, NH HR functions. This strategic yet operational role requires a leader who can develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals while remaining actively involved in day-to-day HR operations. The Head of HR will be a trusted partner to leadership, driving talent acquisition, employee engagement, organizational development, and compliance within a fast-paced innovation-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role within a technology or high-growth manufacturing company, located in CA.
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing HR teams and manage complex organizational challenges hands-on.
  • Strong experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership to influence business strategies through HR initiatives.
  • Strategic and operational thinker with a hands-on, results-driven approach.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and emerging trends.
  • Capacity to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization.
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to navigate change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and talent management systems.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA, MSHR preferred.
  • Senior HR certifications such as SPHR, SHRM-SCP.
  • Experience driving cultural transformation.
  • Background in managing global or multi-site HR operations.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and innovation-oriented cultures.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall HR strategy to support company growth, culture, and business objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the HR team, fostering a high-performance culture and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Partner closely with executive leadership to drive workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, and organizational design.
  • Take ownership of key HR processes including recruitment for critical roles, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation, and benefits administration.
  • Provide hands-on support for complex employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Build and maintain a strong employer brand to attract and retain top technical talent.
  • Create an inclusive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations; manage risk associated with HR practices in CA, NH and remote locations.
  • Oversee HR data management and reporting, using analytics to inform decision-making and improve workforce effectiveness.
  • Lead change management efforts and support organizational agility in a rapidly evolving business environment.
  • Facilitate leadership development and employee engagement initiatives that promote a collaborative and innovative work culture.
  • Manage external HR partners, consultants, and vendors as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with HR Shared Services.
