About The Position

As the Head of Government and Professional Institutional Relations at Arrive, you will play a pivotal role in representing the Group before key government and professional institutions, promoting our brand, and defending our short- and long-term interests. Sitting within our Institutional & Public Affairs domain, this leadership role guarantees our strategic relationships with government bodies and professional federations. Working hand-in-hand with our Public Affairs department, you will showcase Arrive’s vital contributions to economic activity and serve as a trusted advocate for the Group and the broader urban mobility sector.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in government relations, public affairs, or institutional representation within France (and exposure to European bodies).
• Demonstrated success in navigating public administration, local authorities (AMF, France Urbaine), and regulatory or standardization frameworks (BNTRA).
• Proven track record of participating in or leading working groups to influence public policy, legislative proposals, or industry standards.
• Strong background in cross-functional collaboration, particularly partnering closely with Public Affairs and Legal teams.
• In-depth understanding of the mobility, technology, or public service sectors and their regulatory landscapes.
• Strategic, collaborative, and diplomatic leader who thrives at the intersection of public policy, government relations, and business advocacy.
• Excellent negotiation and communications skills, with a proven ability to build lasting trust with public authorities, elected officials, and industry bodies.
• Driven by a growth mindset, you excel at synthesizing complex legislative and regulatory topics into clear strategic narratives that protect and advance our mission of transforming urban mobility.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Arrive Group before French government bodies (Ministries, State Agencies), elected officials' associations, local authorities (such as AMF, France Urbaine), civil servant or local authority associations (such as AITF), and standardization bodies (such as BNTRA).
• Highlight and promote the Group’s ongoing contributions to the national economic activity and urban mobility ecosystem.
• Present the expertise, strategic goals, and regulatory needs of the Group and the profession regarding public regulation, state support, and standardization.
• Participate actively in working groups to advocate for the short- and long-term interests of the Group and the industry against proposed bills or legislative government decisions.
• Represent the Arrive Group before French and European professional bodies (Federations, Associations), leading or facilitating working groups to shape official industry positions in line with our strategic goals.
• Partner closely with the internal Public Affairs team to ensure unified messaging and alignment on key advocacy initiatives.
