About The Position

Step into a high-impact global leadership role where you’ll shape the future of Meetings & Events operations across FCM. As Head of Global Operations – M&E, you will drive consistency, efficiency, and customer excellence across an international network. This 6-month temporary contract is an opportunity to lead operational transformation, aligning strategy, technology, and delivery to elevate global performance and client satisfaction. You’ll partner with senior leaders worldwide to create scalable, high-impact operational models.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar leadership role
  • Strong experience in global operations, ideally within meetings, events, travel, or tourism
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience with event management technology platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proven project management experience
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders across regions or locations
  • Knowledge of travel, tourism, events, groups, and meetings industries
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to GDS systems is advantageous
  • Degree-level education preferred

Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, and execute global operational strategies and processes, balancing efficiency with regional nuances
  • Establish and oversee global KPIs and success measures for operational performance
  • Drive productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction improvements across M&E operations
  • Support product and process implementations aligned with global strategies
  • Ensure consistent delivery aligned with global customer requirements
  • Collaborate with regional leaders, product teams, and operational stakeholders across multiple locations
  • Monitor, measure, and report on implementation KPIs and performance metrics
  • Lead and sponsor global business improvement and transformation initiatives
  • Act as executive sponsor on large-scale operational transformation projects
  • Drive performance and accountability across operational teams globally
