Head of Finance

We are seeking a Head of Finance to oversee all financial aspects of the business and drive the company’s financial strategy and planning. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of relevant experience, a degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or Economics, and experience building financial models along with strong analytical skills. The Head of Finance will work closely with the leadership team to assess financial performance, evaluate risks/investments, and assist with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and decision-making. This is a full-time role reporting directly to the CEO, and the compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full-time roles, and exceptional benefits.

• Implement strategies and policies that strengthen the business’ financial position
• Build, maintain and improve models that plan, measure and forecast business performance
• Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial status
• Work closely with our external finance/accounting partners to prepare reports and help leadership make the best decisions
• Drive budgeting and planning for the company. Make recommendations for how the company might operate more efficiently.
• Analyze trends to reduce risks associated with making investments or spending decisions

• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or Economics with knowledge of Accounting principles
• Experience building financial models along with strong analytical skills
• Experience overseeing finances for a fast-growing software company and managing cash flow
• High proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint and Google Slides. SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with venture capital fundraising. Understanding of fiscal policy and investment regulations.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills. Able to communicate complex topics in straightforward, actionable terms.
