This role focuses on hands-on project execution while holding full ownership of regional security, risk management, and crisis response for The Americas. The Head of Facilities Development and Security will lead the end-to-end delivery of facility and infrastructure projects, including builds, redesigns, consolidations, and relocations. This includes defining and managing project scope, budget, schedule, and execution, as well as managing contractors, architects, and external vendors. The role also involves leading bid processes, vendor selection, and contract negotiations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards, and resolving technical and operational issues during project execution. Additionally, the position requires providing clear and regular reporting on project status, security risks, incidents, and mitigation actions, maintaining audit-ready documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulatory requirements. Stakeholder management is key, partnering with internal functions and managing external vendors, contractors, and security providers. The role also drives process improvement, cost management, and standardization of tools and reporting. A significant part of the role is owning the regional security strategy and implementation for The Americas, leading risk assessments, contributing to travel security, advising on physical security, and acting as an escalation point for security incidents and crisis situations. Support for emergency response, business continuity, and event security is also expected, along with ensuring consistent security standards and protection of persons through threat management.
