Head of Enterprise Semantic Analytics & BI Platforms

Citizens Financial Group•Johnston, RI
•Hybrid

About The Position

The Head of Enterprise Semantic Analytics & BI Platforms will lead Citizens’ enterprise semantic analytics strategy, with primary accountability for building a scalable, governed, and auditable semantic delivery capability on the AtScale platform. The role establishes the operating model, processes, governance, and delivery discipline needed to translate business requirements into trusted semantic models for reporting, analytics, self-service, and natural language query across Citizens. The role partners closely with business leaders, Enterprise Data & Analytics, Data Management, Technology, and external partners, including Tiger Analytics. It leads a small team of technical experts and coordinates cross-functional resources across the U.S. and India. This is a visible transformation role requiring technical credibility, executive presence, operating discipline, and the ability to build an enterprise capability where an established operating model does not yet exist. Approximately 80% of the role focuses on semantic analytics, NLQ, governance, delivery, adoption, and transformation; approximately 20% focuses on BI platform strategy and modernization. The leader also provides strategic oversight for Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, and WebFOCUS; leads the continued implementation and expansion of Power BI; and develops Citizens’ enterprise natural language query capability. The position is hybrid, with four days per week onsite and one day remote, on a Monday–Friday schedule of 40 hours per week.
