About The Position

Anthropic is seeking a Head of Enablement Experience & Innovation to build a Claude-first approach to sales enablement as its sales organization expands across segments, industries, and geographies. The role will develop personalized, in-the-flow-of-work experiences that meet sellers’ needs based on their roles, tenure, and live deals, and measure success by changes in seller performance. This leadership role calls for deep expertise in using AI for enablement and a background in user experience design, product management, or workflow design. The successful candidate will have shipped experiences at scale and demonstrated adoption and improved results. The role begins as an individual-contributor position, with responsibility for setting direction and building a team over time while remaining connected to the field. The position is based on Anthropic’s location-based hybrid policy: staff are currently expected to work from an office at least 25% of the time, though some roles may require more. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience is required. The field of study must be relevant to the role, as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience. Required years of experience correlate with the internal job level. Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. The company offers competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and office space for collaboration.

Requirements

  • Deep, hands-on expertise using AI to design and deliver enablement or learning at scale, such as personalized learning, AI coaching, or guidance in daily workflows.
  • Background in user experience design, product management, or workflow design applied to enablement, learning, or sales tools.
  • Experience leading the design and launch of a product or learning experience at scale, with evidence of changes in adoption and results.
  • Experience working directly with senior sales leaders and frontline managers to secure sponsorship for change, including constructively maintaining a position when they disagree.
  • Experience testing and improving programs with sellers and sales leaders before scaling them.
  • Experience defining and tracking adoption and impact measures beyond completion and satisfaction scores.
  • Experience running programs across multiple geographies, segments, or roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
  • A field of study relevant to the role, demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building and leading a team of senior enablement professionals, and comfort delivering hands-on until a team is established.
  • A clear, experience-based view of why learning programs often fail to change how sellers work.
  • Prior experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
  • Experience at an AI company or an enterprise technology company during a period of rapid sales team scaling.
  • Hands-on experience building with Claude or similar AI tools to personalize learning or improve how people find knowledge.
  • Clear written and spoken communication with executive audiences.
  • Experience selecting and running learning platforms and enablement tools.

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision and roadmap for a Claude-first approach to enablement, deciding what to build, retire, and how enablement is designed and delivered.
  • Use Claude to tailor learning to each seller’s role, tenure, and live deals.
  • Design workflows that bring guidance to sellers in the tools they already use, when they need it.
  • Lead the learning platform, enablement tools, playbooks, and content hub, using Claude to keep knowledge accurate, current, and easy to find.
  • Run enablement like a product by leading discovery with sellers and sales leaders, working with engineering and design, and testing on live deals before scaling.
  • Track adoption and impact on ramp time, win rate, and attainment, and act on the data.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, Product, Marketing, and the wider Sales Enablement team to make programs, systems, and workflows feel like one experience.
  • Run fast experiments with new Claude capabilities, scale what works, and set standards for responsible AI use and data governance in enablement.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation and benefits.
  • Optional equity donation matching.
  • Generous vacation and parental leave.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Office space for collaboration.
