About The Position

Sanas is seeking a Head of Developer Platform & SDK to own, build, and grow its developer business. This is a technical builder and product role responsible for what the company builds, how developers experience it, and how adoption grows. The role works closely with engineers and involves designing APIs, writing code, building prototypes, speaking with developers, and making product decisions. The position owns the strategy and roadmap for Sanas's APIs, SDKs, and Developer Platform; shapes developer experiences for real-time speech AI technology; and works directly with engineers to architect and ship platform capabilities. It also builds prototypes, reference applications, integrations, and developer tooling, and owns documentation, examples, quickstarts, API references, and onboarding. The role engages developers and customers to turn feedback into product priorities, develops integrations across the voice and AI ecosystem, and establishes strategies and metrics to grow developer adoption and platform usage as a meaningful business.

Requirements

Strong engineering background with a track record of building and shipping developer-facing products.
Experience with APIs, SDKs, developer platforms, or infrastructure products.
Hands-on experience with on-premise or private-cloud deployments and enterprise infrastructure.
Strong product judgment and ability to translate ambiguous technical problems into simple developer experiences.
Excellent developer empathy and a high bar for APIs, documentation, tooling, and usability.
Comfortable working directly with customers and engineers to diagnose problems and drive solutions.
Willing and able to write code, prototype, and get hands-on when needed.
Comfortable with technologies such as Python, Rust, C++, Docker, Kubernetes, NVIDIA GPUs, APIs, WebSockets, WebRTC/RTP, and cloud, on-premise, or on-device infrastructure.
High-agency, highly autonomous, hands-on startup mentality and willingness to do what is needed to ship.

Nice To Haves

Experience with real-time audio, voice, telephony, or WebRTC.
Experience deploying AI/ML inference systems in production, particularly GPU workloads.
Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Triton, Terraform, or similar infrastructure tooling.
Experience with air-gapped or highly restricted enterprise environments.
Experience taking a developer platform from early stage to meaningful adoption and revenue.
Experience at a startup operating across product, engineering, and customer-facing functions.

Responsibilities

Own the strategy and roadmap for Sanas's APIs, SDKs, and Developer Platform.
Design simple, intuitive developer experiences for complex real-time speech AI technology.
Work directly with engineers to architect and ship platform capabilities.
Build prototypes, reference applications, integrations, and developer tooling.
Own developer documentation, examples, quickstarts, API references, and onboarding.
Talk directly to developers and customers and turn feedback into product priorities.
Drive integrations across the voice and AI ecosystem, including platforms such as LiveKit and Pipecat.
Develop strategies to grow developer adoption and turn the platform into a meaningful business.
Establish metrics for developer acquisition, activation, retention, and usage.
Work directly with customers and engineers to diagnose problems and drive solutions.
