About The Position

Tofu is building a new standard for security in hiring, addressing the growing problem of AI-driven fraud in the recruitment industry. The company has raised $5M from Slow Ventures and Founder Collective to scale its efforts. This role is for a Head of Customer who will own the entire customer function, from initial interaction through onboarding, engagement, renewals, and expansions. The position reports directly to the Founder & CEO and will be instrumental in setting the customer strategy to achieve $10M in ARR. The role requires close collaboration with engineering, product, leadership, investors, and external stakeholders, acting as a force multiplier across the business.

Requirements

5-10+ years of experience in customer success, account management
You've worked at a startup
Part of a team that's built SaaS products generating millions in revenue
Good with numbers, analytical, somewhat technical
You want to talk to customers all day
Do not need to be told what to do
Toronto-based

Responsibilities

Own the full customer lifecycle -- first prospect interaction, onboarding, engagement, renewals, expansion.
Run first customer interactions post sale.
Own onboarding. Get every customer to first value fast and prove ROI in the first 30 days.
Drive ongoing engagement. Run QBRs, own account health, stay ahead of churn.
Own renewals and expansion. Carry net revenue retention.
Turn customer pain into product. Sit between our highest-value accounts and engineering, and turn the sharpest problems into roadmap.
Build the Customer function from scratch -- the playbooks, the tooling, and the team you'll hire as we scale.
