You will be Reporting directly to the CFO, the Head of Credit Control leads Eskimi's global credit risk, collections, and commercial contract finance function. The role owns credit exposure across 10+ markets, manages a team of four covering SEA, Eurasia & Europe, and Africa, and acts as the senior point of accountability for finance governance of customer commercial contracts across the organisation. The role combines hands-on senior credit work — assessing risk, setting limits, and personally handling complex collection cases — with team leadership and cross-functional engagement with Sales, Legal, and Accounting.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in credit control, collections, or accounts receivable management, with at least 3-4 years leading a team
  • Experience managing credit and collections across multiple jurisdictions and currencies.
  • Strong credit risk assessment skills for international B2B customers
  • Experience with customer commercial contract governance in a multi-customer environment
  • Experience supporting customer payment solutions in new markets, including payment provider evaluation, settlement currency decisions, and cross-border collection mechanics
  • Ability to challenge Sales on credit limits, contractual terms, and payment conditions while preserving the commercial relationship
  • Track record of driving AI and automation initiatives within a finance team
  • Working knowledge of analytics and BI tools (Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Fluent English (business level) is essential

  • Working knowledge of IFRS 15 and IFRS 9 is a plus
  • proficiency in additional languages relevant to Eskimi’s markets is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a global credit control and collections team across 10+ markets, covering SEA, MENA, Eurasia, Europe, and Africa
  • Own the end-to-end order-to-cash cycle, from invoice issuance through to bad debt write-off.
  • Drive collections performance across all regions, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding invoices and resolution of billing disputes
  • Conduct credit risk assessments for new and existing clients, set and govern credit limits, and approve limit changes within delegated authority in close collaboration with Sales
  • Personally manage advanced and complex collection cases, including high-value agency disputes, transfers to external debt collection agencies, and oversight of legal proceedings.
  • Oversee payment forecasting, AR ageing analysis, and weekly debt reporting for CFO and stakeholders
  • Define and enforce the invoice chase process, including escalation to Sales and Legal teams where needed
  • Ensure billing compliance across all markets - correct entities, currencies, and timely invoice issuance
  • Support new market entry and existing market optimization from a customer payment perspective -evaluating payment providers, advising on settlement currency, and ensuring cross-border collection mechanics work efficiently, in coordination with the CFO and Finance Operations
  • Monitor contract compliance across the client base, following up with Sales and Legal teams to ensure signed agreements are in place and gaps are closed in a timely manner.
  • Own the finance governance of customer commercial contracts across the organisation, ensuring consistent application of contractual financial terms across all regions and customers
  • Oversee the finance lifecycle of customer commercial contracts from sign-off through ongoing financial review and adjustment processing, in coordination with Sales, Accounting, and Legal
  • Challenge Sales on proposed financial terms, payment conditions, and non-standard contract structures before signature, flagging revenue recognition and cash flow implications where relevant
  • Lead the team member dedicated to driving the commercial contract finance process, and supervise regional financial reviews performed by the collection team and Accounting, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Maintain commercial exposure reporting and provide the CFO with visibility on outstanding contractual obligations, timing, and material commercial concessions.
  • Identify financial discrepancies and overpayment risk on customer accounts, and drive corrective actions with Sales and regional finance teams.
  • Manage team KPIs across credit, collections, and commercial contract finance workstreams; run regular 1:1s, support career development, and lead recruitment and onboarding when needed
  • Drive continuous improvement of credit, collections, billing, and commercial contract finance processes, including policy and SOP creation, control design, and automation initiatives
  • Own DSP system development within the credit, collections, and commercial contract finance domains — identifying gaps, defining features, and working with developers on implementation
  • Actively identify and implement AI tools to reduce repetitive work across the team —including email drafting, reporting, credit assessments, contract finance reviews, and client communication.
