Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Seven to ten years of procurement experience
  • Previous experience in supervising a team
  • Ability to negotiate, solve problems and manage conflicts
  • Sense of organization and priorities
  • Good communication skills with a customer service “orientation”
  • Great flexibility and agility
  • Ability to work as a team and adapt to unforeseen events and work under pressure
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, SAP MM, Ariba and other software
  • Bilingual (English and French), spoken and written; third language is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, support, coach and develop the skills of a team of 4 procurement professionals while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Annual savings target achieved through negotiation initiatives, total cost of ownership (TCO) optimization, and supplier rationalization.
  • Ongoing support to the Senior Director in producing strategic reports, executive dashboards, and decision-support analyses.
  • In alignment with overall company objectives, define and evolve a strategic vision for corporate procurement, serving internal clients across IT, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Casting, Studios, Real Estate, and more.
  • Act as an influential leader with internal partners, serving as a trusted advisor on procurement strategies, risk management, and value optimization.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment on procurement policies, supplier strategies, operational priorities, and transformation initiatives.
  • Proactively contribute to decision-making by providing structured recommendations based on in-depth analysis, industry trends, risk scenarios, and market opportunities.
  • Negotiate, manage, and renew complex short-, medium-, and long-term strategic contracts with local, regional, and international suppliers with direct impact on global operations.
  • Build and maintain high-level business relationships with key suppliers to ensure performance, innovation, operational continuity, and risk mitigation.
  • Organize and lead supplier performance reviews, including the implementation of KPIs, improvement plans, and mitigation strategies.
  • Actively monitor market trends, emerging technologies, inflation, geopolitical risks, and supplier dynamics to anticipate operational impacts.
  • Proactively adapt contracts to evolving realities in order to maximize total value (TCO), service quality, and supplier flexibility.
