About The Position

NPHub is seeking an NP to lead its community and social media efforts. This role will be the primary on-camera voice for NPHub, speaking to NPs as an NP at scale. The Head of Community & Social will be responsible for organic social media and community across NPHub and NPHire, including strategy, channels, content, ambassador talent, and outcomes. The position requires a blend of clinical expertise and marketing/content creation skills, aiming to leverage clinical training for broader impact within the nursing profession. NPHub, founded to address the shortage of clinical preceptors for NP students, has grown into the largest preceptor matching platform in the country. Through its sister brand, NPHire, it also offers the only job platform exclusively for nurse practitioners. The company has been recognized on the Inc. 5000 list for three consecutive years and secured $20 million in investment in 2025. The company's mission is driven by the urgent need for primary care providers, with NPs identified as the fastest solution to this gap.

Requirements

  • Active or recently active clinical credential (NP, NP student, RN, or directly equivalent clinical role).
  • Demonstrated audience-building success (personal creator presence, brand growth, or community growth with measurable outcomes).
  • 5+ years in marketing, content, or community work, with at least 2 years in a leadership or function-owning capacity.
  • Player-coach mentality: ability to execute content creation (e.g., ship a reel) and strategic planning.
  • Native fluency in TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, and Facebook Groups as both a creator and an operator.
  • AI-fluent (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, CapCut AI features).
  • Located in Atlanta or willing to relocate.
  • Comfortable with hybrid in-office work.

  • Existing personal audience of 25K+ on any platform.
  • Past experience building or scaling an ambassador, affiliate, or creator program.
  • Reddit-native understanding of brand dynamics on the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Lead organic social and community strategy, channels, content, ambassador talent, and outcomes for NPHub and NPHire.
  • Serve as the most consistent on-camera voice for NPHub, creating original talking-head content, educational explainers, day-in-the-life videos, NP career commentary, and preceptor stories.
  • Develop and execute a 12-month roadmap for community and social media across both brands, including managing ambassadors and content creators, overseeing social media communities (e.g., Facebook groups, LinkedIn groups, subreddits), and creating short and long-form video content.
  • Partner closely with B2B marketing, paid social, and the content/creative pod.
  • Mentor ambassador talent and manage creator programs.
  • Run operations, hire team members, set strategy, and report to leadership.
