About The Position

Pattern is seeking a Head of Commercial Finance to serve as a key strategic thought partner to executive leadership. This role will help shape critical business decisions across pricing, monetization, channel strategy, and long-term growth within the organization's commercial operations. The Head of Commercial Finance will have a significant influence on the company's global e-commerce business, operating at the intersection of finance, strategy, technology, and e-commerce. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Lehi, UT.

Requirements

• 10-15+ years of progressive finance experience.
• 5+ years in a commercial finance leadership role, preferably within fast-paced, omnichannel retail or e-commerce environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Combines strategic leadership with a hands-on approach, actively engaging in the details while setting the standard through personal example.
• Exceptional analytical and soft skills, with a proven track record of translating complex data into actionable insights and influencing executive decisions through strong communication, collaboration, and leadership.
• Thrives in a fast-paced culture, enjoys problem-solving, and uses data to sift through the noise.
• Curiosity regarding AI, automation, and emerging commerce trends.

Nice To Haves

• MBA or CPA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive, commercial, and sales leadership to provide guidance on pricing, monetization, channel strategy, and contract reviews.
• Evaluate commercial risks and opportunities to drive growth and profitability.
• Lead the Pricing team, including financial review of new deals, expansions, and renegotiations.
• Own, refine, and improve Pattern’s financial deal model.
• Evaluate new products and business models.
• Manage pricing related to promotional activities.
• Lead Commercial Finance’s Annual Operating Plan and forecasts, scenario modelling, and month-end close activities.
• Develop and mentor the Commercial Finance team, fostering a data-driven and collaborative environment.
