About the position
The Head of Capital Markets at Imprint is responsible for developing and implementing the strategy for funding loans, as well as providing key inputs to product development and strategy. This role involves managing relationships with institutional investors, running and negotiating corporate debt and warehouse deals, and overseeing Imprint's debt portfolio. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in capital markets, a strong understanding of debt structures, and a proven track record of raising capital. They should also possess excellent relationship management skills, strong analytical and financial modeling abilities, and exceptional attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Interface directly with institutional investors on a regular basis, and build effective and lasting working relationships
- Responsible for running, structuring and negotiating corporate debt and warehouse deals
- Manage debt capital fundraising efforts, including corporate debt, warehouse and securitizations
- End to end ownership of Imprint’s debt portfolio
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to the CFO and CEO leveraging finance resources
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in capital markets, preferably in the consumer lending industry
- Strong understanding of debt structures
- Proven track record of raising capital
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Exceptional capital market experience, with an ability to work quickly with little oversight
- Strong self-management, drive, and organizational skills, and an insatiable curiosity to learn
