About The Position

Viridian Staffing's Client is seeking an experienced Cannabis Extractor and Edibles Leader specializing in rosin to join a rapidly expanding cannabis company in Southeast New Mexico. This role offers the chance to manage the daily extraction and edible operations within a regulated cannabis facility, overseeing the scaling of extraction processes. The position involves establishing and documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring compliance with all safety, security, and health regulations. As the Lab Manager, you will be hands-on, willing to perform the work yourself, and are described by former direct reports as a collaborative leader with a positive attitude, committed to organizational success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a relevant degree.
• At least 3+ years of experience in a laboratory environment.
• At least 1+ years' experience managing a lab.
• At least 3+ years of experience in managing a cannabis extraction lab.
• Experience making Cannabis rosin is required.
• Knowledge/experience doing various types of extraction.
• Experience running a regulated Edibles kitchen.
• Strong communication skills, enabling explanation of complex scientific information to non-scientific individuals.
