About The Position

The Waukesha County Park System is seeking dedicated, innovative, and genuine individuals to join their top-notch team as a Head Ice Arena Attendant. The work schedule is year-round, 10-15 hours per week, with the ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays. Prior to hiring, the final candidate may be subject to work/education/certification reference(s) and pass a criminal background and driver's license check.

Requirements

Ability to skate.
Ability to provide, and follow, oral and written instructions.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, including providing excellent customer service.
Ability to safely operate equipment necessary to perform the duties of the position.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working and public relations with co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
Ability to effectively interact with sensitivity with persons from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, educational, racial, ethnic, and professional backgrounds, and persons of all ages and lifestyles.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push/pull, and lift up to 10-20 lbs. on an occasional basis.
18 years of age
8th grade education.
Valid driver's license.
Some recent supervisory work experience.
Some recent cash handling and customer service work experience.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
