About The Position

Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for a Head Grower for a small indoor grow operation about 40 minutes outside of the Portland, Maine, area. The Head Grower will have the opportunity to cultivate, manage, motivate, and provide administrative support to the daily activities and operations of the grow. This role requires a "roll up your sleeves" attitude, the ability to enforce and refine established SOPs, efficient distribution of resources, strong problem-solving skills, compliance-driven mindset, and effective people management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for managing a grow cycle, mentoring/managing staff, and developing direct reports.

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial cannabis cultivation experience.
• 1+ years of people management experience.
• Experience managing an indoor cultivation facility of at least 4k square feet of canopy.
• Solid IPM experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Compliance-driven.
• Effective people manager.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate, manage, motivate, and provide administrative support to the daily activities and operations of the grow.
• Enforce established SOPs and refine them when necessary.
• Efficient distribution of resources.
• People management and development of direct reports.
• Manage an indoor cultivation facility.
• Implement and manage Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies.
