About The Position
This extracurricular assignment is for the Head Girls Wrestling coach at Hurricane High School during the WVSSAC-designated season for the 2026–27 school year. The coach provides instruction, direction, and supervision to athletic teams to develop athletes’ ability or skill to perform in athletic contests. The coach’s responsibilities and duties are those outlined in the Putnam County Schools Extra-Duty Handbook.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Passed the WVSSAC coaching courses.
- CPR/AED certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction, direction, and supervision to athletic teams to develop ability or skill for athletic contests.
- Carry out the responsibilities and duties outlined in the Putnam County Schools Extra-Duty Handbook.
