About The Position

This position is for a Head Girls Wrestling Coach. The role emphasizes education-based athletics, focusing on developing strong character skills in athletes through positive reinforcement, truthful criticism, and relationship building. The coach must be committed to good sportsmanship and upholding the Byron Center Public Schools Athletic Code. Strong knowledge of wrestling fundamentals, strategies, communication skills, and leadership abilities are essential. The coach will be responsible for building a strong team and program, including running off-season programs and summer camps/clinics.
