Requirements
- Journeyperson Cook certificate
- Grade 10
- Health Care Cook Certificate is acceptable
- Interpersonal skills
- Communication skills
- Basic - Computer skills
- Organizational skills
- Leadership skills
- Ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license, where required
- Conditional hire must complete required education/equivalent within 4 years
- Upload all relevant documents (ex: certificates, diplomas, proof of enrollment, licenses and/or memberships) relating to the qualifications of the position.
- Bring a valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) to the interview; it must be dated within six (6) months and include a vulnerable sector search.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates the operation of a facility kitchen.
- Prepares meals and nourishment.
- Ensures service in a safe and efficient manner.
