About The Position

This is a general interest form for future Head Coach vacancies at DREAM Charter School. The Head Coach reports to either the High School Athletics Manager or Middle School Dean of Student Life, depending on the school level. The role is responsible for upholding DREAM's expectations, policies, and youth development standards on-site. Key responsibilities include fostering a strong team culture, supporting athlete development and safety, and leading program execution during practices and games. DREAM Charter School serves over 2,500 youth across East Harlem and the South Bronx through a network of seven PreK-12 schools and community sports-based youth development programs. They focus on rigorous academics, social-emotional learning, family and community engagement, and health and wellness.

Requirements

• Submission of an up-to-date resume, including current role and any relevant coaching, athletics, and/or playing experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site leader responsible for upholding all DREAM expectations, policies, and youth development standards.
• Build a strong team culture.
• Support athlete development and safety.
• Lead program execution during all practices and games.

Benefits

• The rate for incoming Head Coaches is $45 per hour.
• The rate for incoming Head Coaches who are also DREAM full-time staff is a $4,500 per-season stipend.
