About The Position

This is a general interest form for future Assistant Coach opportunities at DREAM Charter School. The Assistant Coach reports to either the High School Athletics Manager or Middle School Dean of Student Life, depending on the school level. The role involves being the on-site leader responsible for upholding DREAM's expectations, policies, and youth development standards. Key responsibilities include building a strong team culture, supporting athlete development and safety, and leading program execution during practices and games. DREAM Charter School serves over 2,500 youth across East Harlem and the South Bronx through a network of seven PreK-12 schools and sports-based youth development programs, focusing on rigorous academics, social-emotional learning, family engagement, and health and wellness.

Requirements

• Submit your most up-to-date resume, including your current role and any relevant coaching, athletics, and/or playing experience.
• Interest in joining the Athletics Team for the 2026-27 school year.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site leader responsible for upholding all DREAM expectations, policies, and youth development standards.
• Build a strong team culture.

• Lead program execution during all practices and games.

Benefits

• The rate for incoming Assistant Coaches is $30 per hour.
• The rate for incoming assistant Coaches who are also DREAM full-time staff is a $3,000 per-season stipend.
