Head Coach Womens Lacrosse
About The Position
Oglethorpe University, Atlanta’s leading private, Liberal Arts University is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic professional to serve as the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach. The Head Coach is accountable for all phases of growing a competitive lacrosse program which competes in the Southern Athletic Association. Primary duties include coaching the team, managing the budget, overseeing game day operations including travel arrangements, and effectively recruiting student athletes. This is a full-time position with an excellent benefit package, including employer paid health insurance, 403(b) retirement plan, tuition waivers and much more. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree is required
- A valid driver's license is also required
- Knowledgeable of and committed to the rules and regulations of the NCAA, Title IX, and the SAA
- Ability to demonstrate appropriate technical skills during practice and games
- Ability to plan, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while working on multiple tasks
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of three years coaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred
