About The Position

Lead a proud tradition of student-athlete success as the Head Coach of Women’s Basketball at North Idaho College. This is an exciting opportunity to build a competitive program while making a lasting impact on the lives of student-athletes both on and off the court. As Head Coach, you will provide leadership for all aspects of the women’s basketball program, including recruiting, coaching, player development, game strategy, scheduling, team operations, and staff supervision. You will create a culture that emphasizes athletic excellence, academic achievement, personal growth, and sportsmanship while ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of student-athletes. The position also plays a key role in budgeting, fundraising, alumni and community engagement, marketing, and representing the program throughout the region. We are looking for a dynamic leader who can recruit talented student-athletes, develop successful teams, and foster an environment where students thrive academically and personally. Successful candidates will possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities, supervise staff, build relationships, and effectively promote the program. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
  • A minimum of two years full-time related experience and/or training.
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Current valid Driver’s License
  • Strong leadership skills

Responsibilities
