About The Position

To carry out the goals and objectives of the Soccer program in accordance with school administration and Spartanburg High School Athletics Policies. To instruct athletes in individual and team fundamentals, strategy, and the physical training necessary to develop individual and team success.

Requirements

• Current SC teaching certification preferred
• Prior experience preferred
• Requires work that involves walking or standing some of the time and involves exerting up to 50 pounds of force on a recurring basis.
• Requires the ability to compare and/or judge the readily observable, functional, structural or compositional characteristics (whether like or divergent from obvious standards) of data, people or things.
• Requires the ability of speaking and/or signaling people to convey or exchange information. Includes receiving assignments and/or directions from supervisor.

• Requires the ability to deal with people beyond giving and receiving instructions.
• Must be adaptable to performing under moderate stress when confronted with an emergency or tight deadline.

• Must be able to hear and understand communications through a telephone.
• Has thorough knowledge of the methods, policies and procedures of Spartanburg District Seven and the South Carolina High School League pertaining to specific duties of the position.
• Is knowledgeable in the standards and regulations pertaining to the specific duties and responsibilities of the position.
• Has knowledge of the organization of the district and of related departments and agencies.
