Head Coach - Varsity Boys/Girls Swim
About The Position
Responsible for recruiting, teaching, and coaching student athletes in the sport of swimming and in specific cases, diving. Instructs student-athletes in the rules, techniques, and equipment to become better swimmers or divers. Organizes and directs individual and group practice activities off campus with a specified training facility. Monitoring student-athletes during practices and competitions. The coach must also be capable of completing essential paperwork assigned by the Athletic Director and school system. The coach must also attend assigned rules clinics assigned by the Virginia High School League on a yearly basis.
Requirements
- Previous coaching experience is preferred.
- Experience in swimming meets and techniques is essential.
- Must have completed or completed a mandatory coaches certification under the Virginia High School League.
