About The Position

Queen Creek Unified School District is seeking a Head Coach for Varsity Boys Track to develop and maintain an efficient and competitive athletic program. Queen Creek is a 6A athletic program with varsity, junior varsity, and freshman levels. The head coach is expected to develop coaches and athletes across all three levels. The program emphasizes competitive opportunities, strength and conditioning, and camps.

The position includes fundraising, running camps and clinics, and ensuring compliance with all AIA bylaws. Compensation is per the QCUSD salary schedule for the applicable position. The position reports to the Athletic Director.

The physical demands include regularly standing, sitting, and talking or hearing; frequently using hands and arms, standing, bending or stooping; moving around campuses; and driving to schools and district departments. Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as adjusting focus. The work environment's noise level may range from moderate to loud. Requirements

• Complete the NFHS Concussion Course.
• Complete NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching.
• Complete the NFHS Bullying, Hazing & Inappropriate Behaviors Course.
• Head coaches must complete the NFHS Sport-Specific Course and a First Aid Course.
• Ability to pass a background investigation.
• Substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and ability to examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field.

Nice To Haves

• Three or more years of varsity coaching experience preferred.
