About The Position

This position is responsible for coaching 5th and 6th grade girls in soccer, focusing on skill development, sportsmanship, and fostering a positive team environment. The coach will manage practices, games, equipment, and maintain communication with parents and athletes, all while upholding the values and mission of Lipscomb Academy.

Requirements

• Experience in coaching soccer
• Ability to plan and manage practices and games
• Skills in communication with parents and athletes
• Knowledge of sportsmanship, cooperation, work ethic, personal responsibility, and competitiveness
• Professionalism and ethical behavior
• Ability to build positive relationships
• Understanding and ability to foster a Christ-centered environment and team culture of service

Responsibilities

• Practice planning and game management
• Manage soccer equipment necessary for practices and games
• Maintain communication with parents and athletes
• Guide student-athletes in learning appropriate sportsmanship, cooperation, work ethic, personal responsibility, and competitiveness
• Maintain the highest order of professionalism and display the highest level of ethical and moral behavior at all times
• Build positive relationships with athletes, coaches, parents, and the community
• Help create a Christ-centered environment and team culture of service to others that reflects the Lipscomb Academy Mission Statement
• Other duties as assigned by the Dir of Soccer
