About The Position

This position is responsible for coaching the 5th and 6th grade girls' soccer team at Lipscomb Academy. The coach will focus on developing athletes' skills, sportsmanship, and a Christ-centered team culture that aligns with the Academy's mission.

Requirements

• Experience in coaching soccer
• Ability to manage equipment
• Strong communication skills with parents and athletes
• Knowledge of sportsmanship, cooperation, work ethic, personal responsibility, and competitiveness
• Professionalism and ethical behavior
• Ability to build positive relationships
• Understanding and ability to foster a Christ-centered environment and team culture of service

Responsibilities

• Practice planning and game management
• Manage soccer equipment necessary for practices and games
• Maintain communication with parents and athletes
• Guide student-athletes in learning appropriate sportsmanship, cooperation, work ethic, personal responsibility, and competitiveness
• Maintain the highest order of professionalism and display the highest level of ethical and moral behavior at all times, including building positive relationships with athletes, coaches, parents, and the community
• Help create a Christ-centered environment and team culture of service to others that reflects the Lipscomb Academy Mission Statement
• Other duties as assigned by the Dir of Soccer
