About The Position
Waters Middle School is seeking a Head Boys Basketball Coach. This role requires extensive knowledge of basketball rules and skills, a program-centered approach, and the ability to exhibit good sportsmanship. The coach must be knowledgeable of VHSL rules and work effectively with children. Previous competitive experience at the college, club, or professional level is preferred.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of the rules and skills in basketball.
- Program centered approach.
- Specific skills and exhibits good sportsmanship.
- Knowledge of VHSL rules.
- Works well with children.
- Submit a standard on-line application.
- Submit two letters of reference.
- Submit a recent TB test or screening.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year of coaching experience as an Assistant or Head Coach.
- Previously competed at the college level, club team or professional level.
