About The Position
The Head Baseball Coach at Abingdon High School is responsible for creating and implementing positive program development. The coach must demonstrate strong leadership in player and staff development, sportsmanship, integrity, and character development. Qualified candidates should possess strong communication and organizational skills. They must demonstrate exceptional knowledge of the skills and strategies of the softball program as it pertains to interscholastic athletics in Virginia.
Requirements
- Successful experience as a coach.
- Ability to implement a training program.
- Possess leadership qualities and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with administrators, parents, and students.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Exceptional knowledge of the skills and strategies of the softball program as it pertains to interscholastic athletics in Virginia.
