About The Position

Lead the Red Tornado baseball program. Responsible for competitive performance, player development, and fostering the "Excellence in Athletics" standard defined by Clinton Public Schools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate
• CPR/First Aid and concussion management certifications.
• Previous head coaching experience or significant varsity-level assistant experience.
• Proficiency with video analysis and performance tracking tools (e.g., Hudl).
• Strong communication for coordinating with the Athletic Director, media, and community stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily practices focused on fundamentals, situational strategy, and physical conditioning.
• Coordinate coaching staff and player development across all grade levels.
• Enforce the Athletic Code of Conduct, focusing on accountability, integrity, and academic success.
• Manage the program budget, equipment inventory, and OSSAA compliance.
• Oversee the care and preparation of the baseball facilities.
• Act as the primary liaison for the booster club, parents, and youth league partners.
