About The Position

The Head Teller is responsible for processing all transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. This role is a go-to staff member working alongside bank staff and plays a fundamental role in achieving our customer satisfaction and revenue growth objectives. Requires ability to work at a fast pace, making dozens of transactions daily, communicating with different types of clients and selling bank products/services, with a strong history of customer service. Position is located in Cheyenne and is not a remote position.

Requirements

High School diploma or greater required.
2+ years of experience in a bank teller role preferred.
Experience handling cash transactions and working with systems.
Experience providing excellent customer service.
Candidate must pass a pre-employment screening including credit history and criminal record check.

Responsibilities

Acts as team lead to resolve escalated transactions or concerns and finds the best solution for both the customer and Bank.
Conducts multiple routine bank transactions within time limits and established guidelines (cash checks, accept deposits and loan payments, process withdrawals, etc.).
Assesses customer needs and introduces new products and services (credit cards, saving bonds, etc.).
Makes sales referrals, suggests alternate channels and cross-sells products and services.
Goes the “extra mile” to build trusting relationships, customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Complies with regulatory requirements.
Manages risk in every transaction and detects fraudulent transactions to prevent losses.
Resolves customer issues and provides relevant information.
Other duties as assigned.
