About The Position

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently looking for a talented full-time Head Baker. We are looking for an individual who is as passionate about food quality, customer service, community & as we are! In the role of Head Baker, you will have the opportunity to lead a dynamic team who will offer a unique menu selection of artisan, sweet, & seasonal breads all baked with honest, whole ingredients.

Requirements

• Must have afternoon/evening availability.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Leadership experience in either restaurants or retail.
• Ability to stand, lift, and mix.
• Ability to work through change and be flexible.
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of large-scale baking/pastry experience.
• Formal culinary education is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a dynamic team who will offer a unique menu selection of artisan, sweet, & seasonal breads all baked with honest, whole ingredients.
• Demonstrate superhero abilities in the kitchen from following recipes to paying close attention to additional details to create one-of-a-kind breads.
• Lift large amounts of dough, flour, and other supplies all weighing 50 lbs. plus.
• Stand, lift, and mix.
• Work through change & be able to be flexible all while keeping a close eye on what's cooking!
• Ensure attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards.
