Physician--Head and Neck Otolaryngologist
About The Position
The Department of Otolaryngology at WMCHealth is seeking a fellowship-trained Head and Neck Otolaryngologist to practice at hospitals in Valhalla and the Northern Region, including Poughkeepsie and Kingston. The academic practices are affiliated with New York Medical College, Westchester Medical Center, and The Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Valhalla, New York. The successful candidate will join a group of otolaryngology subspecialists and see patients in Westchester, Dutchess, and Ulster Counties. The role will help grow the head and neck surgery program, which serves as the Hudson Valley’s tertiary referral center. It includes teaching and supervising residents and physician assistants. Salary and academic appointment depend on years of experience.
Requirements
- MD.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery residency.
- Completion of a fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery.
- Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.
- Eligible for New York State medical licensure.
Responsibilities
- See patients in Westchester, Dutchess, and Ulster Counties.
- Help grow the head and neck surgery program as the Hudson Valley’s tertiary referral center.
- Teach and supervise residents and physician assistants.
