About The Position
The Head Volleyball Coach is responsible for specific duties and responsibilities related to the coordination and supervision of the High School Volleyball program and team. This role aims to help students achieve gains in athletic skills and team performance. The coach will also communicate effectively with the school district and community, work with booster clubs, design training and game programs, and organize coaching staff. Attendance at SC High School League Rules meetings is also required.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of the game.
- Head Coach experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise High School Volleyball program and team.
- Help students achieve gains in athletic skills and team performance.
- Communicate effectively with all members of the school district and community.
- Work effectively with booster clubs and other community organizations.
- Design a training program and game program.
- React to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned.
- Organize and supervise the coaching staff to assure that the program is properly implemented.
- Attend all Rules meetings of the SC High School League.
