About The Position

B.H. Inc. is seeking a high-level Horizontal Directional Drill Operator for its western U.S. operations. This role is critical for executing large-scale utility projects, directing quality, and ensuring compliance. The operator will work directly with the HDD Foreman and is expected to lead with minimal supervision, maintaining a proactive, positive, and professional attitude toward site safety.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of dedicated HDD Operator experience.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Expert proficiency with Falcon F5 and Ditch Witch controls.
• Ability to travel 90% of the time (typically 4–6 week stints).
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (No sponsorship available).

Responsibilities

• Operate Ditch Witch rigs (JT25, AT60, JT60) and guide drill bits using the Falcon F5.
• Perform pre-operational checks, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Lead utility pot-holing and manage tooling changes for various ground conditions.
• Maintain a proactive, positive, and professional attitude toward site safety.
