About The Position

TEKsystems is seeking an OSP Horizontal Directional Drill Locator. Candidates who are operators and want to learn are also welcome. The role involves working with a 4-man crew to perform underground telecommunications/utility excavation, horizontal directional drilling, conduit/cable placement, and ground restoration. The crew consists of a CPM, locator, foreman, and operator. Experience in locating underground utilities, working with and maintaining a Vermeer 2440 directional drill, test pitting, drill maintenance, and mixing mud is required. Candidates should be confident in maneuvering around underground placements. This position offers an onsite vehicle (no take-home), operates from 7 AM to 4 PM (which may vary per job), and provides advancement opportunities. Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform underground telecommunications/utility excavation
