About The Position

B.H. Inc. is seeking a high-level Horizontal Directional Drill Operator for our western U.S. operations. This role is critical for executing large-scale utility projects, working directly with the HDD Foreman to manage pipe sizes from 6" to 24". The operator will be responsible for guiding drill bits, performing maintenance, and ensuring site safety.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of dedicated HDD Operator experience.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Expert proficiency with Falcon F5 and Ditch Witch controls.
• Ability to travel 90% of the time (typically 4–6 week stints).
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (No sponsorship available).

Responsibilities

• Operate Ditch Witch rigs (JT25, AT60, JT60) and guide drill bits using the Falcon F5.
• Perform pre-operational checks, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Lead utility pot-holing and manage tooling changes for various ground conditions.
• Maintain a proactive, positive, and professional attitude toward site safety.
