We are looking for a kick-ass HCM Paycom People Administrator to join our Tribe at the Restaurant Support Office! This person owns the day-to-day integrity of our HCM platform, keeping our systems humming, and making sure every Tribe Member experience is supported with accuracy, speed, and a whole lot of heart. We don’t do things the boring HR way around here — and neither should you. This role is the primary administrator of the Paycom HCM system, the engine behind everything we do in People Ops. Beyond the system, this person plays a hands-on role in benefits administration, payroll support, compliance, workers’ compensation, and cross-functional People initiatives. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of HR or People Operations experience with demonstrated HCM/HRIS system administration proficiency.
  • Hands-on Paycom experience preferred; familiarity with Toast or comparable POS/HR integrations a plus.
  • Working knowledge of benefits administration, payroll processes, workers’ compensation, and HR compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical mindset — comfortable building reports, identifying data trends, and translating findings into action.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Restaurant, retail, or high-volume multi-unit industry experience preferred.
  • PHR, SPHR, or Paycom certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • HCM Administration & System Access: Serves as the primary Paycom administrator — maintaining data accuracy, managing user accounts, groups, and profiles, processing manager and field team member resets, and ensuring proper system access across the organization at all times.
  • Integrations & Feed Management: Monitors and maintains all Paycom system connections and automated feeds, including the Paycom-to-Toast/POS integration. Research and resolve feed failures by manually unarchiving records, correcting rehires, and fixing secondary job assignments that did not transfer correctly.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Builds and manages push reporting and workforce analytics, delivering scheduled and ad hoc reports to field leaders, RSO stakeholders, and benefit vendors as needed.
  • Org Structure & Position Management: Adds new locations, regions, and org realignments to Paycom as the company grows; evaluates and maintains position management seats and labor allocation builds to reflect accurate organizational structure.
  • Benefits Administration: Ensures benefit carrier feeds and integrations are running accurately. Processes qualifying life events, assigns correct benefit profiles to Tribe Members, and sets up and maintains accrual structures, deduction codes, and ATS connections within Paycom.
  • Payroll Support & Compliance: Provides payroll backup and regional peer coverage as needed. Responds to unemployment claims and employment verification requests accurately and on time, escalating complex matters to the HR Director or above when appropriate.
  • Tribe Member Support & Communications: Monitors the VT People Box, Payroll Box, and Recruiting Box, triaging and responding to Tribe Member concerns, inquiries, and requests. Sends and manages company-wide Tribe messages and system communications as needed.
  • Approvals & Onboarding: Processes Personal Action Form (PAF) approvals, personnel discussions, and new hire queue approvals. Creates and maintains new-hire templates and document-acknowledgment flows in Paycom to support a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Platform Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Evaluates and implements Paycom platform release updates that increase operational efficiency and People Ops productivity. Maintains the organizational chart and proactively identifies system and process improvements.
  • Recruitment Support: Opens requisitions (REQs) in the ATS as needed and provides backup recruiting support. Handles ad hoc People Ops projects and cross-functional initiatives assigned.
